Waywick Anatomy & Species Traits
Waywicks, like any species, have specific anatomical traits that make them unique. Here is a compiled list of traits found in waywicks of all classes.

Because waywicks are spiritual beings, they lack the internal anatomy of corporeal earthly beings. A waywicks being, or "true self" is just a mass of energy. This energy, called their "Source Energy," is a waywicks source of life.
The waywick's source energy allows it to manifest into its deer-like appearance. However, the fact that they are a manifestation of energy limits their ability to interact with humans. Typically, interaction with humankind occurs at night, when their energy is strongest.
Interaction typically occurs in ways that most would associate with hauntings; moving objects, opening and/or closing doors, visual or vocal anomalies, and touch. A waywick's ability to use a "glamour," or make themselves invisible to the naked eye, adds to the claims of waywick activity being considered hauntings.
Despite the glamour, a waywick cannot become invisible to other waywicks, due to their snake-like ability to sense energy (see below).
Because of the lack of organs, waywicks do not have genders. However, one's energy can be either more feminine or more masculine.
Waywicks are capable of eating, which can provide extra energy due to the food of choice being absorbed by their Source Energy. This is a key part of keeping their energy strong and ultimately affects their survival
Injuries can occur if caused by another waywick or spiritual being. However, they do not bleed. Deep cuts glow the same as their source energy.
Source Energy is always a solid color, however single-color gradients (ie- light blue to dark blue, dark red to medium red, etc) are permitted.

Waywicks have canine-like teeth as well as long, snake-like tongues. Waywick tongues can detect nearby energy presences, much like how a snake 'sniffs.'
Hands are very much like rat hands. the fur on their hands is very short, and they can have very large or very small claws.
